My name is Cindy and I ordered a custom wool letter
sweater for my daughter back in June. I ordered early because of the 10-12 week
wait time for custom sweaters. As the date arrived on my calendar I anxiously
awaited the arrival of the sweater. After a few days past the date I
emailed VSA and was told that unfortunately due to the low volume of a
certain kind of wool needed for the sweater, I was now looking at another 2
weeks for completion. This unfortunately did not set well with me because my
daughters Senior Night was the week I was to receive the sweater and I still
needed to have her letters, etc sewn on! After giving you this information, you
responded...and I admit I was surprised by your response. You understood. You
even said.."as a mother yourself, you realize how important Senior Night
was.." and you would do what ever you could to make sure we received our
sweater as soon as it was completed. But..you didn't stop there. You further
stated that VSA would pay to overnight the sweater and, move it up in
production since I specified an urgency for it's arrival.
Well...I received the sweater and the quality and
construction was more beautiful that I ever expected! I received it in
time, had the patches sewn on and all went well. I also had about 4 other
mothers use VSA to order their sweaters for their daughters and they were in
the same situation. They ALL received their sweaters too!
I just wanted to express our thanks to your company for doing
everything in their power to make sure that a memorable evening went off
without a hitch. VSA sweaters have added to a wonderful memory of our daughters
graduating and a wonderful keepsake for years to come. In today's world of
business, you don't find too many companies that still recognize you as a human
being. Thank you for recognizing our urgency and sentiment for your sweaters!

Thank you for your help! Here is my surcoat I ordered from VSA last summer (see attached); I get all kinds of compliments on it when I wear it (yes, here in FL where it's been pretty cool weather-wise, but starting to warm up just today... finally!).
The most often asked question I get about it is "Is that coat vintage?" And everyone comments about the lack of a cuff at the waistband and how cool it is, and I explain that is what distinguishes a varsity surcoat from a varsity jacket and the consensus is "That's awesome!" I always give props and recommendations to VSA, and will continue to do so!

Here is the promised pix of the Fontainebleau High School Dazzlers in their new VSA sweaters. These have been great in southern Louisiana where the weather never gets that cold. The “boyfriend look” big-style sweaters were a hit on campus, and the girls were proud to wear them this fall. The quality was very nice and the detailing much appreciated. The girls loved the fact that it was a kind of edgy “retro” look – very different from the letter jackets that the other campus teams were wearing. They got lots of attention from students and even teachers who remembered wearing something similar. The girls are looking forward to adding their latest “1st place” patch on the sleeve from competition. Thanks for working with a newbie client to create a spirit piece that the school and our dance team can be proud of. The Dazzlers are standouts at Fontainebleau this fall thanks in part to VSA.

Dear VSA, Just wanted to say thanks for sending the letter sweaters ASAP - as you can see they arrived in time for Christmas morning and were a big hit!! I am amazed at the quality- did not expect anything half so nice for that price. They are truly incredible! Can't wait for the custom patches to arrive. As a seamstress, I am very picky about the quality of fabrics and construction of clothing that I purchase. Your sweaters had some wonderful details (like the reversed seam allowance that makes rolling up the cuffs attractive, and the separate piecing on the front band that is usually only found in more expensive clothing) that i didn't expect. I saw a couple of my daughters teammates over the holidays and they are pretty excited about ordering sweaters for themselves! Thanks again!

When the quality of service and product is consistently outstanding it deserves to be recongnized.
I am not the perfect customer. I don't order or call often. My orders are never large. When I do contact them I have finicky expectations and excessively high demands with everything frrom fast communications to fast completion and delivery. I would hate to be my customer!
For some wonderful reason, Kristin at Varsity Sports Apparel still makes me feel like her most valued customer everytime we connect; and, I've never been disappointed with service or product. Now we're not just warm - we look really cool too!
